At the end of each semester, students are required to settle their violation fines—a task made more difficult by the already heavy academic workload and extracurricular responsibilities during this timetable—the student’s inability to pay their violation fees on time within the given timeframe means that they must look for alternative time schedules for their payment, thereby putting back their enrollment for the next semester. Meanwhile, the ACC-SHS Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) manually inputs, calculates, and collects violation fees individually, creating a time-consuming and inefficient process. Due to these highlighted issues, DisciPay: A Kiosk-Based Digital e-Payment System for Managing School Fees is developed. It is a product made by STEM 12 students that features a touchscreen interface wherein the ACC-SHS SSLG officers can input violations, and students can enter their ID numbers to view balances and settle it via e-payment and/or cash payment. As a result, managing and paying violation fees has never been easier!
